A Brief Biography

My name is Victor LaMie and I have been DJing since September of 1999.  My wife, Brandi (who
assists me at many events) and I have been married since April of 1996.  We are both 37 years
old as of July 1, 2010.  We live in Kankakee, Illinois and attend
The Cornerstone Church in the
village of Bourbonnais, Illinois.  I also work as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal
Service in Bourbonnais.  I have been working for the USPS since September of 1994.  Brandi is
now back to work at a local Taco John's, serving breakfast three time a week.  We have two
sons: 9 year old Isaac Raymond and 7 year old Elijah Paul.

Brandi and I enjoy playing cards and softball.  I am a member of the Praise Team at our church
as well as participating on the Tech Team regularly.  I enjoy reading aloud to Brandi and playing
basketball.  We spend the occasional weekend with friends, visiting and playing card games.
Brandi also has a true gift for evangelism and discipleship, leading bible study groups,
bringing friends, family and coworkers into meaningful relationships with Jesus.  She is also a
member of the prayer team at our church.

The Alaska Radio Mission

A couple of years ago, we were called to be missionaries in the state of Alaska with SEND
International.  Victor will be serving through
Northern Light Network radio in Glennallen, AK as
an outreach to the local community and surrounding native villages.  Victor interned with WVLI
("The Valley") 95.1 FM in Bourbonnais where he gained hands-on experience in the radio field
so he can plug in to serve immediately upon arrival in Alaska.  For more information
