What We Will Be Doing

Fourteen years ago, Christ-centered radio ignited a passion in us.  Christian
songs inspired us to go deep with God.  We've seen it prompt a friend to open his
Bible for the first time!  Christian lyrics in country music beaconed a relative to
believe God's promises.  When we were new to the Christian life, radio
programming such as Focus On The Family helped to disciple us.  We
understand, appreciate, and live out the power of music and media!
In 1999, by God's leading, we created a Christian Disc
Jockey business to amplify God's Word set to music.  For ten
years we've been blessed to help Christian couples glorify
God and transform their wedding receptions into testimony.

God has invited us to join His work in Alaska, utilizing internet
and other media as means of sharing the Gospel with the
unreached villages and fulfilling a support role to the 50+
missionaries serving in the bush villages of Alaska and NW
Canada.  As we have prayed, we have recognized that this
has been the trajectory of our lives.  Our spiritual gifts and
life experiences match the needs of the Alaskan people.  
Alcoholism, sexual abuse, and despair choke out the light
and we are eager to be His "witnesses...to the ends of the
earth.” Acts 1:8

In addition to the professional, we will continue to do the type
of evangelism we are doing here: intentionally developing
relationships so we can share Christ, connect the
disconnected and build up believers.
The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light, and to those who
were sitting in the land and shadow of death, upon them a Light dawned.

We seek to reach people in the most remote parts of the North. We have a vision of
reaching the indigenous people of Alaska, an area encompassing over 100 villages that
have no consistent testimony of the hope found in Christ. In cooperation with SEND
North's church-planters, we will be working to proclaim Christ in these mostly forgotten
places - in short, to give Christ a "Voice in Every Village" through KAKN Radio
broadcasts, our intentional relationship building and live event ministries.
