| Although A Joyful Noise is a specialty service, we do not ask for special wages. If you compare our rates to most DJs offering comparable services, you will see ours are very competitive rates (We understand that planning a wedding reception is costly enough and that youth groups operate on a limited budget). Wedding Reception Packages *Travel included up to 60 miles from our offices in Kankakee, Illinois as determined by MapQuest.com (the intersection of Court St. and Station St. is the start point). After 60 miles an additional $2 per mile will be assessed. **$50 per hour will be added if additional time is needed. To reserve your date: We request a $100 retainer check, refundable up to 45 days prior to the event. All Other DJ Events We ask an hourly rate of $75 with a $50 deposit. Deposit is refundable up to 14 days prior to the event. Balance is due upon satisfactory completion of service. Effect lighting is also available for these events for an additional $75. All events under three hours will be assessed a travel fee of $2 per mile. All events further than 60 miles according to MapQuest.com will be assessed a one-way fee of $2 per mile over 60. Also, if our rates are not within your budget, let us know. We are willing to work with you. We do not want to turn anyone away for financial reasons. The ministry is far too important to let money be a deterrent. Discounts Special discounts apply for church, school, and youth ministries. Schools also receive a special long term discount for booking multiple events. Please contact Victor for terms and details.
